Here's a list of things that I noticed in TF2 that can help you and your team out. I found them quite easily in game, but most people don't.
Number 1.
Scouts should never take the teleporter unless the teleporter is behind enemy lines. Period, no reason to discuss this.
Number 2.
In real life, if you're on fire what do you do? Stop, Drop, and Roll? Exactly. Why do people run around like morons when they're on fire when it only makes it last longer? Stand still unless you're close to a health pack.
Number 3.
They say a pyro should never go under water, that's silly. No one expects a pyro to go underwater so they're one of the best offenses in that environment.
Number 4.
When you're a spy, run backwards. Seriously, less expectation.
Number 5.
As a spy, never sap a teleporter or dispenser that's in an odd place. They're usually only there to check to see if a spy is coming.
Number 6.
If you're a demoman, use the obstacles to your advantage. Bounce bombs around corners to hunt them down from a safe vantage point.
Number 7.
As an Engineer, build teleporters on the two main points of entry. The spies will sap them and you can tell if they're coming or not.
Number 8.
When trying to avoid being sniped, run in a zig-zag.
Number 9.
In 2fort, if you're near the intelligence and you have a medic on you, let the medic pick up the intelligence. No one will shoot the medic if there's a big chance that you have the intel. Also, you have all the fun, let the medic be rewarded more for helping you.
Number 10.
As a medic, if you don't need your uber anymore, but don't want to waste the last five or so seconds, switch to a different weapon.
This is all I've got for now, I'll post some more when I think of them.
