Idling has help me alot in my 2 years of tf2. Usually for the weapons, but I heard some people dislike and some just idle wrong (why no one uses text idling). They use idle serever :/
Oh here my latest idle item.

Honestly I don't care for idling. You'll get items anyways by playing. It's no big deal.

I've never done it myself, but I have nothing against it. Seems like a good way to get some scrap :P.

I don't get the reason for idling servers. I really hate it if people go to idling servers to rank up S. weapons though.

I don't see a need for idling servers, because you still get items by idling in Offline practice.

But I don't mind idling itself.

Btw my last drop was a Noh Mercy. I gotchu beat son

I got a nametag for mine. Got you both beat :P

If they are idling and leveling stranges that's just dumb.

I still idle a lot of the time, on our servers it not only helps with filling but I don't get any items anyways since my backpack is always full!

I've never idled but I don't care what you do as long as you don't give eGO a bad name :)

If I idol for a long time it starts to lag my computer. But valve is probably just ddosing me for it.

We support idling if you're attempting to fill servers. I wrote a guide awhile back on when to idle and when not to idle for such purposes.

But if you're idling just to get items, many of our servers will kick AFK players when they become too full. So idling for the sake of idling is kinda frowned upon

I only care that it covers quite a bit of the server list. I'd much rather see actually decent servers to play than some idle server. I'd text idle at the least, but that's if I actually care to do so. I seriously play enough TF2 a week usually to hit the item drop cap so idling is irrelevant to me.

Meh. I was supportive of the whole idling business in like 2009. Then I used to "idle" on empty eGO servers while I was at school or something, hoping that I could get a server filled. The amount of TF2 I play is equivalent to the amount that I would Idle, so I don't think I need to idle.

I really don't see a point in idling, every time I play TF2 I get a new item anyway, so I've never had a need to.
