Rome : Total war 2. Your starting Faction choice

So, what are people's initial opinions of this game? Personally, I haven't formed a definite conclusion on this game, having had only a very little amount of time to play. There's a lot to explore still, but one thing sticks out at me: the military units' wayfinding is a little clumsy. In the initial prologue scenario, my troops often wandered afield even when given orders to attack. Some troops also ignored orders when I commanded everyone to rush a position. I can't tell if this is an aberration or maybe something else, but it's admittedly odd.

The amount of information displayed on screen at any one time is also staggering. The interface is so loaded with information I had to turn most of it off to see what I was doing. Still having fun with it so far, though; I looked at my clock when I finished my first battle, clicked around a bit thinking maybe 20 minutes had gone by, and then looked at my clock again and saw close to an hour had passed.

I was also curious as to how everyone is liking it so far. Would love to hear some opinions. I can't afford the game right now and am trying to satiate my urge to buy it by playing Shogun 2 again. It's kind of working...

I noticed this also Cael, I think it's just the prologue battle. Why can't the weekend come faster so I can play more?!?!?!
