I vote yes, but mostly because I think others will want it and I cannot see myself playing egypt very often. But that could just be my catoptrophobia stating the obvious future.

I have mixed feelings about this one, because I like talking to people, but I also like strategizing over voice. Ultimately I had to go with no because we have Vent for talking with people on the enemy team

Honestly I think it is a STUPID idea to put alltalk on.

The main reason I use my mic is to communicate info to team mates, if alltalk is turned on I'll have no reason to use my mic on egypt.
This is also the same reason I rarely use my mic in alltalk events

Let's be honest, most mic chat stuff is silly nonsense or us talking to each other. Pubs almost never use it to call out spies and so on. I think its fun social benefits outweigh the strategic downside.

Plus- there is always team text chat if you absolutely have to say something pertinent, such as 'why do we have 7 snipers and 9 spies?! I hate each and every one of you!'

Amen. I can't remember the last time I've actually strategized with teammates in pub situations, save for calling out spies or ubers. All-talk is a lot of fun, banter between teams makes it more interesting.

I hit yes for all the folks that play there. I personally don't play on the server unless it needs a quick fill or an e or eG is looking for an admin. 24/7 Egypt has been up and down over the years and the only thing common, is that it always gets changed to something else. Needs to be turned into another rotation server in my opinion.

I don't see what the problem is. If it is made into a vote, players can turn allchat on and off as the server sees fit.
