eGO hardcore server?!?

So what are the chances of getting a eGO hardcore server? I know we have several eGO members interested in hardcore and I know several regular players on the normal mode servers interested in hardcore. So why don't we have a hardcore server? I think the reason why the last hardcore server wasn't so popular was because nobody would help populate it. I was on it all the time but nobody would help populate it.

I always play on the IAF hardcore servers and they are always full. They have one with endgame and flying maps and another with all the expansion maps. They are really great servers. Now I'm not saying we have 2 servers like that. I'm just saying I know a hardcore server can be a good thing to have. We just need supporters. I'm tired of :mad_old: (normal) mode. Where the damage makes no sense what so ever!

While I would like all eGO members to be happy, this question is posed every few months, and generally there's a 50/50 split, followed by a hardcore server being added and sitting idly. At the moment, I think it's best for us to keep the servers we have so that we can prepare and recruit for Battlefield 4. When the time comes to choose server setups for BF4, hardcore is always an option, and maybe if we can keep the server highly ranked from the beginning, it will solve our problem at the root.

Essentially you answered your own question: a hardcore server is always in demand, but rarely, if ever, successful. For whatever reason, we don't have the supporters we need to keep one running.

Personally,Imho they should just left hardcore server to aftermath since many people loved that DLC and was quite easier to populate. But since they changed to end game/ all maps..it got harder to populate since not many players were interested.As result the server got dumped because of the lack of interest and it was mostly empty..

I loved playing on our hardcore servers, and almost every day I log onto BF3 someone is asking me if we were ever planning on bring our hardcore severs back, mainly the aftermath maps, I know bf4 is soon coming, and there will be many preparations there, but it would be nice for people who aren't going to be playing bf4 to maybe switch one of our all pop's maps because we have two >.<, and I personally do not like playing on our basic maps normal servers.

I don't know about that wizekraker both of the IAF servers I play on has end game maps on them and its always full. So that's saying something.

i don't think they really care if us hard core guys want a sever as long as the other to 2 sever's stay filled even know must the ppl in the severs are not ego

After Math and Conquest Domination were the most popular maps on our Hardcore server. Some of the End Game maps were also. The reason the server was pulled, was that it and the old all pops servers were to be changed out for a new servers, but the old all pops started doing so well that they kept it and the one new server we got they just cloned off of the old all pops instead of making a Hardcore.
The feeling being that we can recruit more people from two servers that are the same that are doing good in rankings. Than we could if we risked changing one and trying to recruit from a different group of players on a server that may not get up high in the ranks.

I like reading these kind of threads guys. They open our eyes up for members and allow for great things to happen. Tipton nailed it on the head.....We had a great HC server but when End Game came out, we thought it would be good to go to the new Maps.
Now we are stuck between a rock and a hard place......BF4 is coming out.....get those servers going and If BF3 keeps doing GOOD, another HC server is due to arrive soon. Guys please bear with us, I like the HC game play also but I did get tired if it. TOOOOOOOO much Aftermath and I was like OmG. Need something different soon. So back to the drawing board we go.

Same thing can be said about vanilla maps. I would like to see for bf4 we have server with more than 2 dlc at least.

As much as I enjoy playing on hc servers. There is a lot more complaining, swearing, and frustration from pubbers. So as much as I'd love to have one I feel like it would require a lot more supervision. We are doing a great job at filling our two all pop servers, I don't see why we couldn't fill another. I suggest a possible trial server with hard core, if its popularity isn't as expected after a few months. change it to a rush or tdm?

id like to see a hc server again. i did love the aftermath server alot. its hard to say what the right decision is. i personally am very bored of the maps we have on the servers simply because you cycle through them very fast/or just play the same maps again and again. bf4 is pretty much just 3 months away so if theres a chance we could get another server this would be the time. once bf4 is out im guessing most of us will spend the time on bf4.

The problem with keeping a HC server filled is that friendly fire is on and it only takes one or two punks with out an admin on to empty a server in about 5 minutes. You'd have to have an automitic system to kick after 4 or 5 team kills to keep people playing on the server if we don't have 24/7 admin presence. I will only play HC mode and I've noticed over my playing history that the servers that have made it to my favorites list all have some kind of automitic admin feature at least at the bare minimum level to keep punks from ruining a game before an admin can get on to fix the situation. Even if it was a plugin that allowed players to vote to kick someone that was being very distruptive it goes a long way to making a server become popular.
