Hi all,

I wanted to start a discussion about trying to promote usage on the other BF2 servers. Typically, the main conquest 32 player big-maps server is always packed. That's great, but the hard core and rotate-map servers are, un-used.... Well, underutilized.

Id like to propose - to promote more usage:

1) that the logon banners show that we have 3 distinct servers. When you logon, there is a little message as it connects... somehow make it clear ego has more than one play ground... Check it out... Ask players to battle against each other on 'empty' servers...

2) Ego members should try and pull some people off to the other servers via in game text or vent in order to further personalize the ego clan and try and get the users to add it to their fav-list. The only reason I'm a member is someone reached out to me. In game chats work - well, if English...so.. that is a limiting factor.

3) I'm no fan of in game server messages, but, maybe say "ego have 2 other bf2 servers..., It sure would be a streak of pro-con, nagios guru magic to be able to state the other server usages real time.... Lol....

4) BALANCE !!!! I think trying to grab a few players of a server to go for a generals only match might take the load off the noobs - if and when - for example, lets say SERIALKILLER_QC and MASIVE are both pilots on the same that would suck for the other side..... As admins are, they see this - so, maybe pulling them out by asking, the regulars to go to another server might be nice.. Plus, being able to use the /!SCRAMBLE command would due the game justice... Or the ability to, swap players... balance of gameplay is really hard, and Ego does a good job at mediation.. so, yea, cough cough....

Oh yea,
5) Just sitting on buttocks? Then logon to the other empty BF2 servers. I do this and hope someone joins in. Even if they get fun no game, it sticks in their HISTORY Tab for a while.... They will know ... ah, Ego has 3 servers.....

You know, fishy, thanks for mentioning this. We have held some Server Rescue Nights and they are successful.

I will start putting these up again.

P.S. It's BC2, not BF2. Jeeeez. :)
