The console i will be choosing is the PS4.
Its a cheap apparently fast console. Supports a lot of free games but its a vummer about the multiplayer that must be bought

Console wars - When an argument spawns from discussing gaming consoles.

There have been too many threads on "PS3 vs Xbox 360" or any other type of console and it becomes a flame war most of the time. If you want to do research on consoles, there are many sites that already gathered the information for you.

Bottom line, NOT ALLOWED

Just a reminder before a potential console war starts... I will be getting both later on. Right now im just putting money into my pc and getting the consoles after the major bugs are worked out example Xbox 360's RROD and PS3's YLOD. Which both of my consoles i had suffered to

Wasnt asking for a war, just a conversation about whythey want that one. But i understand.

Cheap being relative, $400 is still a nice chunk of change for the common man/woman. Of course, being $100 cheaper than the Xbox One, I'd be more willing to buy the PS4 myself.

Personally, no big reason to buy either system, except maybe to use the Kinect (but I'm not going to spend $500 for a console). If anything, I may buy a second PS3 so I can watch blu-ray movies in my or guest bedroom, and have an alternative place to play some games. I got a first-gen PS3 that works just fine for me.

I really like both of the consoles. Theyre both really equal when it comes down to it. Both offer great online gaming. Pros and cons are leveled out. I would grab both of them but im only 16 an can only afford one. What i really hope for though is that one day you wont need a controller for any of the consoles, just your mind lol. Or like a playstation move gun that works for all games that are shooters.

Well as I only have a 1st gen PS3 (which took me like 3 years of research on ebay to find), I dont think ill be needing a next-gen console anytime soon. However, if & when I do get enough extra $$ set aside, it really just depends on when I choose to get it (which itll more than likely be a PS4). I do agree that the biggest reason in my opinion would be the price.

Of course I wont say more cause of the rules.

I have pre-ordered the Xbox One. I prefer the controller, the online experience, the entertainment features, and the launch exclusives. I will eventually get both just Xbox One first.

I had thought about getting the xbox, but the kinect thing soured my enthusiasm. I think I am just going to upgrade my PC rather buying a new console. A new video card and a nice ssd will set me back about as much as a new console but I'll get so much more out of that.
