CS:S crashing with no error

[Insane_Penquin]

this just started tonight, i try to play on a server and after about 30-60 seconds the game just goes away and I'm at my desktop. no error or anything I have tried a couple of different servers with no difference. I mostly play surf maps if that makes a difference.

this is happening even on a new os, it seems to happen after a new map is downloaded by the game.

Which OS is it, if I may ask?
