Steam Stats...

The last saturday I spend about 6 hours playing TF2 as sniper.

That was the first time that I reached over 100 points (WOW!), and increased some stats.

At the next day, I realized that the stats didn't change, they keep just as I never played the previous night.

Is steam having some trouble managing all this information or is just bad luck?

Any comments, please.

I've noticed that my XFire sig shows that I played "<1 hour this week" LIE!!!

I think the points go by your life not the round. Did you get 100 points without ever dieing? Once you die, you start back at 0 again i believe.

I know one problem they're having. I've achieved Head of the Class, and it says 9/9 classes, but it isn't counting it. So I'm still stuck on 15 of 17 achievements (the other being "With Friends Like These".

As for your situation, the above are correct.

I know Steam community went down for a bit a couple of days ago and wasn't counting stats. This probably had something to do with it.

I'm bringing back this thread, cause there is a fact that I'd like to comment.
I don't play for gaining better stats, but it motivates, for this situation I think Steam has some serious issues keeping track of the stats. Yesterday I unlock 'Head of the class' achievement, and today it's still locked. Again, I'm not after points, stats, just the fun. What do you think?

getting killed is very bad for your stats ... yikes, in about 1 hour playing one day I went down 300 points.

I recall there being an issue if you played TF2 while listening to the developer's notes/comments (something like that) it would enable sv_cheats to 1. When this happened, stats wouldn't get loaded onto Steam. Did you listen to the notes? If so, I don't recall exactly what had to be done in order to undo this, but check the Steam Forums as I think it is listed there.

I was playing on Dustbowl early this morning against a team that had a simply unbreakable defense. My ending kpd was like 0.25 ...

Also, if you don't die before a round change, your stats for that life don't get recorded. I got 30ish points in one life as a sniper during the last scrim, but didn't die so it didn't register. >.<
