I had the same issue until I upgraded my router to a Linksys EA3500.... it is an IPv6 router, so it can handle 6 wired or wireless devices at 1 time. I love the router software as it gives you complete control over every aspect of the device. You can set priority for devices. I am running wired on the device and have my pc set as the highest priority in the data stream, so I get the most bandwidth. You can also set parental controls for each pc and even limit the amount of connected internet time for each device. : http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/routers/EA3500
