Ok, so I'm not really leaving on a jet plane (until next week when I'll be happily vacationing in Maui), but it's time for some real talk.
On February 20th, 2012, I was given the extraordinary opportunity to have a part in leading this division and this community. It is a chance I am grateful for, and I wouldn't change it even if I could. I was able to help lead the EC program to what I like to think were bigger and better things alongside my ultimate partner-in-crime, Christy for nearly a year. I have to admit, being an Advisor was my favorite time in eGO, because I got to not only lead an awesome group of ECs, but I also got to help people with anything and everything, which is something I enjoy doing.
Last December, I was given the chance to go even further and become a Division Leader, and let me tell you, it is not what it's cracked up to be. A lot of hard work is put into every division within eGO, and not everyone is up to the task. Especially with the general busyness of that thing everyone calls "real life." But nevertheless, I took on the challenge, and it was a great run, but I'm afraid my time has come to an end. I've finally hit the end of my run after nearly 3 years within EdgeGamers and over half of that time spent within leadership.
With life coming at me hard in the coming weeks, months, years, etc., I simply won't have enough time to hang out as much as I used to. As most of you have probably already noticed by now, I have hardly been around, and when I am, I'm usually playing a random game to help pass the whatever spare time I have. You all deserve a leadership team that is willing and able to put in the time and effort to run this division smoothly and efficiently, and I feel confident leaving you in the capable hands of a team that does just that.
So without further ado, I bid you all adieu. As of this post, I will be stepping down from my position as a division leader, and will no longer be a leadership member within the CS division. I've got more than enough on my plate to keep me busy, and unfortunately, I just can't quite squeeze eGO in! So, I leave you in the lovely hands of your fantastic council member, C-WHiT, your sexy DLs Christy and Machine Gun Rush, and your lovable, helpful, superbly awesome advisors Ric, spark, Storm, and Ashley!
Have a great time eGO! And the CS Division will always be the greatest in my book!
