Intersting thing in the Player Stats

When I checked out my stats after being promoted, I lost 200 points only after just changing the name. I thought it was only my issue.

Then I checked out GChassie's and VoiDeD's.

Both of theirs have also dropped a considerable amount.

Doesn't really bug me much, which is why I don't complain, but does anyone one know why it did that?

When a name is changed it starts the rank over again as a new player, at least that's how it worked in mani mod.

With HLStats? I highly doubt it cause it goes off of your steam ID and it assigns you a unique ID too. I changed to eG and saw no drop. Maybe they didnt play for a few days? I could be wrong but I do know pyschostats lowers your score after X amount of inactive days.

I havn't looked through it much but it may be linked with your in-clan kills
Again, I dont don't know if they give points for that though

Yeah, it splits points for each alias used, but it still keeps the same total points.

I just checked my points and it doesn't seem like I've went down. Only my rank went down cause I haven't played alot recently.

either i didn't really notice or didn't really care. but there's any number of reasons why you could have lost those points
