Another COD refugee

Welcome to the TF2 division; I didn't even realized the COD division was gone 0_o. But here some friendly advice for this division.
1. Beware Kazoo = Shes made of Hacks
2. Beware Mini Sentries = There made of Rage Quit
3. There is always a spy around even before the round start.
4. Pester Idol to the Max.
5. VP enjoys the direct hit(soldier weapon) shot him with it.
6. The frying pan has a 75% chance to crit on hit.
7. The Ham has a increase chance of making people rage.
8. When someone pulls out there melee weapon at you YOU BETTER DO THE SAME AND FIGHT THEM!!!.
Oopsie. It looks like Fluffy accidentally mixed the "Ways to have fun" list in with the "ways to get banned" list. :glare:

You cannot ban me! I don't have time to be banned! (soldier quote)
I think its gonna be pretty hard banning me now idol :P

Silly Fluffy, the only time Idol can't ban is when he causes a stack overflow in Maul from more bans/second than Maul can handle. Then he bans the Tech division for not keeping up with his ban-with and then the new Tech division upgrades Maul and the circle continues....

Have a favorite class yet?

I seemed to be falling into old habits from COD. Played Pyro a lot last night. Lurking around corners and firing away at surprised enemies. I used to camp around corners in COD with a shotgun and claymores, then give the enemy a blast full of surprise.

Try Demoman then, much more skillful and crafty than the pyro. Less w+m1 too.

Realized I should have posted

No such thing. Do I need to pick up the slack around here with anime gifs?

I will end you.

Yes, I am. Guess I'll just have to run around bald (like IRL) until I figure out this Hat fetish that TF2 has. LOL

Serious advice about hats.

Hats shows skill level of players.
Insulting the hats can make a whole server hate you.
You can actually sell hats for hundreds of dollars. I'm not kidding you can actually do it.

There's an article in the New York Times Fashion section about TF2 and our love for hats

You can also sell a certain weapon for $1000 if you can get your hands on it

Very rare though. VERY

Thank you, Fluffy. Now I think I understand.
The hats, how do you acquire them? Through achievements or points?

People think better hats mean better player. Reason for that is because the longer you play, the more hats you are likely to have.

Hats come from random drops over the weeks or through crafting. It takes 3 refined metal to craft a hat. Each refined metal is three reclaimed, and each reclaimed is three scrap, and each scrap is two same-class weapons crafted together. In other words, that's a lot of weapons to go into a hat.

Just wait for drops or attend events and have a shot at winning a hat. :D

Thanks Kazoo!
Looks like a lot of crafting goes into a hat.
And I understand what you mean about skill vs just playing long enough.
