Odd sentry places

Anyone know of an unconventional sentry placement in any map? One of my favorites was just discovered by myself about 20 minutes ago.

Long story short:
In 2fort -
I was on battlements, noticed a soldier running into the front doors below me. I jump off the battlements, he shoots a rocket, I faceplant the rocket and land on the center balcony between the two bases. I set up a teleporter and two other engineers use that to set up a base on the far side of the balcony, killing everyone who does not use the sewer.

Too bad that will never happen again..

This was one I notified everyone of my tele. And Shade was talking about something else I believe.

EDIT: Feel free to explain how to configure the thumb tag so the above image does not stretch your web browser..

Yeah, pretty much an instant lock down unless a demoman shoot pipe bombs from underneath.

Theres a pretty cool place to put a SG on dustbowl stage 3 in an open window. I'll get a screen shot of it later. Have been told not to build it there because it was unfair. People even went so far to call it an exploit - but it can be knocked out

Well, theres the medic/engi trick that has come out. I haven't done it yet, so I don't know if people can actually do it

[/quote1197836739]It can certainly be done. I've been the medic and engi in that method. Some people do it at gravelpit for the B point.

I have never heard of the demo medic trick, but if you are referring to the medic/engi, read what follows:
An engineer builds a dispencer and continously jumps on top of it while a medic shoots his needlegun at the engineer, propelling him upwards letting him reach places he cannot do so alone.

As for acid green, I jumped off battlements and got hit by an enemy rocket and I landed up there.

lol how'd u get it there?
[/quote1197853389]Medic/engi.

Engi builds dispenser.
Engi jumps on dispenser.
Medic crouches by dispenser.
Medic shoots needles at Engi.
Engi goes up in the air.
Engi lands on higher ground.

If the engi doesn't build a teleporter exit (or a dispenser) first, lol.

I have no clue, but it works. I've seen it done with a scout's double jump and the needles too.

hahaha!! That is the coolest thing I've ever seen in that map! Too bad ff isn't on or we could have a demo help blow us there from the battlements.

lol thanks for clearing that up, but how does the needles blast the engi up?
[/quote1197909236]I can't explain that one. It just does, lol.

True, but then everyone could get up there - ruining the uniqueness
