So for the past 10 years, during the month of October, I try to watch at least 1 horror movie per day.

My current girlfriend doesn't like scary movies but she lets me get away with it for October. I've actually gotten her to watch the whole Nightmare on Elm Street collection (one of my fav's)

Recommend me some of your favorite horror movies, i'm always in for a good scare :w00t:

Day 1 - Ginger Snaps http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0210070/
Day 2 - Evil Dead http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083907/
Day 3 - Evil Dead II http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092991/
Day 4 - Army of Darkness http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106308/

Can't go wrong with the original Evil Dead trilogy. Even though the latter 2 have some comedic elements, they are absolute classics.

Good call!

I just watched the 2013 remake last week, but Ive never seen the originals.

For more recent ones, the Conjuring is good.

And for some reason, I really liked The Others.

I wouldn't call M a horror movie, well at least that's if you're talking about the Lang film. Stylistically it has more in common with film noir than anything else. Of course, M is still a film you should watch, just do go into it expecting a horror movie.

Anyway here's a few:

Inside (2007)
Suspiria (1977)
Splinter (2008)
Let the Right One In (2008)
Videodrome (1983)
Ravenous (1999)

Day 2, 3, and 4 brought us the Evil Dead trilogy. Thank you ciggy!

I didnt know whether to be scared, to laugh, or sometimes, be turned on :blushing: lol

Glad you got to see them man. The hand and funiture scenes in Evil Dead II are two of my most favorite scenes in all of film.

Also, Sam Raimi is planning on introducing three new films to the series: a sequel to the reboot that was released this past year, Army of Darkness II, and a third film that will bring the original series and new series into the same continuity. Can't wait!

The Omen (original) is pretty solid. As well as Rosemary's Baby (original). I also really enjoyed Silent Hill. It got bad reviews I believe but I thought it was well done. The remake of Night of the living dead (1993 I believe) was, in my opinion, pretty well done.
