Rejoin Timer issues with CS:S Servers

I am seeing a lot of abuse of the rejoin timer. For instance, T's will rush at the start of the round, die, and rejoin quickly and can respawn back as a T and play again the in same round. This seems against the spirit of the game. Perhaps we could look at adjusting the setting on how long after the round starts that players can join an active round?

Thanks for your consideration :)

Gotta say, I do this alot, on both T and CT, no matter the map. If I charge headlong and get killed by some random shot 4 or 5 seconds into the round, I'm going to try and rejoin so that I can keep playing. Having to just wait around in dead spec for 2 or 3 minutes to start playing again is really lame.

Then don't rush and get mowed down in the first 10 seconds of the map. Play tactically rather than abusing the system to get another life. As far as I know, doing this repeatedly is disrupting the server and is not allowed. Whether the time you can spawn in after round start is lowered or not is up to leadership, but its really irrelevant as it's not allowed anyway.

Even the best tactics can be ruined by a random act of chance like someone's lucky shot or a teamflash. I don't see it as disruption or abuse at all. Its the same as a new player joining within the allotted time frame. Actually, it puts you at a disadvantage because you only have a few seconds to completely gear up or a full fledged rush from the other team could be heading your way.

Then wait out your death like everyone else does. No amount of random shooting is going to hit you through 4 walls, so hanging back a few seconds to wait out flashbangs and grenades doesn't hurt you.

It's not the same in the aspect that they have not already used their life that round.

It was added to allow players with slow computers to spawn after the round has started after a map change. Don't really see a problem. Maybe this could be a w/k/b situation?

Last I heard it already was.

I can't say I've witnessed anyone being warned about this behavior, but maybe an admin didn't notice it or wasn't on. I know a couple times I've warned people but without a G in my title they usually just ignore me.

I avoid Dust2 like the plague because my screen is always solid white from all the flashbangs, but as I've said before, the activity isn't allowed. Whether admins are enforcing it or not is another story.

Because as far as I know it's not a actual rule or very well known. I stated that I heard it already wasn't allowed because I recall having been told about it by a previous leadership member when I was either a G or O..who that was I can't exactly remember.
