What's the story behind your name?

My Name

I was inspired to use the name Valdez a long time ago. I was actually playing a Nancy Drew (yes, you read that right) game when I first heard the name uttered. I thought of it as a cool name. And one day, while getting my account set up for Myst Online: URU Live Beta set up after another vault wipe, I couldn't get my regular username (demark999) working. I decided to just put in "Valdez" and the name stuck. So I always use the name. My last name is not Valdez so that is not where it came from. :P Although I do use Andy Valdez as an alias.

Well I used to really like the name Shadow, but as you know, that name was taken by a lot of people in games, a friend of mine was named Purenainesh, so I decided to copy him and just add an "esh" at the back of my name.
 
Basically when I was 8 my name was Zero because it looked cool, then I figured everyone else had it when I was 10 so I changed it to Zer?™ when I found the character map in windows. Then I had a whole server say I should put Skill/ on the front of my name because I couldn't die even when everyone else was dead(zombiemod/riot) So then it was Skill/Zer?™.
Afterwards I stole this idea from a guy that had Wha? Im a Monkey! at the end of his name so I was like what the heck and added it, so then my name was Skill/Zer?™ Wha? Im a Monkey!
for a really long time until I was 12. Then I found eGO around September I think when I started talking to these guys after I found some bad videos about eGO on youtube. Cullmann and Nader were talking and I kinda busted in and started talking, they got me to join so my name was back to Skill/Zer?™. There was no special characters name policy at that time and it was accepted. A couple years later I was dominating some admin who's name started with an M and spawnkilling him when he was a Heavy. He eventually got mad I(it seemed) and decided to get me in a way that I hate to this day. He PM'ed me and told me about the name policy and that I need to change my name and I just started thinking *No, not again* and thus my name changed as this policy was forced upon me by like 5 admins in the leadership channel and my name became Skill/CJaZ. I despise that day and really regret not leaving when that admin PM'ed me. So there ya have it.
 
I wanted to find a name from any mythology and after some searching i found Asclepius. It wasn't used too widely so registering to places is not a problem, it's easy to remember and i like the sound of it:P
 
Its has something to do with my last name. Not going to get into it. and the 101 i just threw in their for laughs... idk.
 
I just made it up one day. For my WoW alt.

My old name was Kude, it was the name of my WoW main, cause Kude was a Native American shaman IRL. I am of Native American descent, and I had a shaman, so it fit.

I changed it to my newer, original name Ranthus because nobody could pronounce Kude right. For future reference (still part of my gamertag): It's coo-day.

lol my name used to be minidug when i played on cod 4 1.5 when i swithced to 1.7 and i was talking about ducks lately and just changed my tags
 
I really don't know how I got the name iiNfamous, nor how I thought of the variation I use of it for xbox live (pK iiNfamous). I guess no story behind mine, then. :|
 
My name came out of desperation. First, I was smellyoctahdron, as this was the only name that I could reliably use in just about every game ever concieved. Who else would be a smelly octahedron?

Sadly, it didn't quite convey proper emotions, or my overall cool level. I decided to switch to OneoftheLost upon joining Freelancer back in the day. Its stuck ever since.
 
I used to play halo trial alot. And when people would get killed some people would have their name as "a pencil" so it would show up as "You were killed by a pencil". So I decided to put A Camel cause im arab. Then my friend told me you should put THE Camel. So it would show up you were killed by not "a Camel" but " The Camel"

That was like 3 years ago. I slapped on legendary in my cs 1.6 days and in css but i took it off after they merged the steam name with the in game name.
 
Aight, might as well. My name began last year, when I was part of the now-dying Call of Duty: United Offensive clan, the Texas Junkyard Clan, or TJC. My name started out as Thor's Son on there, because my dad named himself Thor. One day, one of the members, Raven, told me that the mythological Thor had two sons, one named Modi and one named Magni. He told me to change my name to one of those because of some reason, I forget why. Changed my name to MoDi because I like it. Stuck with me ever since. And that's my story. As told by MoDi, the self professed "Great One".

I have always been a Married with Children fan. The character Psycho Dad was never seen, or formally introduced in the show, but Al idolized him.

mostly I chose the name because a less respected name would be "Normal Dad"
 
Original name Spitfire. Joined eGO. Name was taken so had to choose different one. Since I have anger issues I chose Furiosity.
