Never saw much point in a 24/7 event server anyway.
Minigames and Zombies can not coexist in a rotation.

To those wanting MG brought back, it wouldn't have gone away if you had shown more support for it in the first place. This has happened with numerous servers in the past. People want a certain server, support it for a few weeks, then stop playing, it dies, its removed, then people complain its gone.

Wait? Shutting down the server all together? Forget that. I didn't realize the zombie server month was a lame way of saying, "Hey guys we love you, but we need to shut down the minigame server. We can't give you a reason why. Here have a month of zombies to make it up. Thanks. Bye." Should we have at least voted on whether we should keep the server or not? Also the minigames server was doing fine in a lot of people's opinion. I never understood the purpose of hashtags but...

We never stopped using the Minigames server. One could argue that it has more player in it consistantly than the Highschool server. Do you see people playing late night Highschool? Not that much. Do you see people playing late night Minigames? All the dang time. Now don't take this as a lets get rid of highschool and put minigames back kind of thing. It isn't.

Minigames>Highschool every day... You cant expect people to be on the server every single minute of every single day even italy and office are empty for half of each day... Highschool only gets filled when people spam friends and global chat same as minigames!! Atleast minigames was different to the other servers.

I know that in early October, when I had midterms, I personally couldn't play so I wasn't backing Minigames as hard, but let me tell you something, I was on it EVERYDAY. Everyday we had at least 2-20 players. Now, you might say 2? Well, more than Zombies has right now. And with at least 2 players, it could build to 20. Can't build a server that has no one on it.
As for its popularity vs highschool, it was indeed more popular. It did die down, like I said it was round early October.

This only started holding true since about 3 weeks ago. (up until it transitioned into zombie mod)
2 people does not make a server.
This was not the plan til after the zombie server was in place.
Reality check for all of you:
3 of our servers have been dropping in ranks for the past few months (Highschool, Jail and Office). We're going to concentrate on getting those servers to a higher rank before we move forward with a new server. I see you all showing support now after the server is taken down, but where was it when the server was up? It would routinely have no or little people in it even in prime hours. Next time a server you "love" comes up, fill it, build a pub base and it won't go down.
Honestly, if leadership has deemed the server done then I understand. You can't support a server after it's been shut down. I've been a true all the way Italy fan. But when the mg server was Aztec I was in there. That server has never gotten the popularity/favoritism to keep it up and running. When it changes to something new, yes it's filled for a few weeks but eventually dies down. We need to support and understand our leaderships decision about the server. All of our leadership does enough work and enough investigation to decide if a server is kept or not.
