Ventrilo question

Hey,

I know there are two options in ventrilo for voice chat. One is you have to press a button and the other is it autodetects when you are talking, right?

I never used this option in ventrilo, Teamspeak has it too though and works great there, anyone using it on ventrilo too and what's your experience with it?

We don't allow open mics on our ventrilo server.

I personally can't stand voice activation. I wish they didn't have the option for it in any voice program. I don't want to hear some 12 year old crying to his mom about him having to get off the computer!!

True. I also dont want to hear people eat or drink or what so ever. But if you play multiplayer with just 1 other person, I prefer not to have to push a button before I yell: granade! Because it's often too late then.
