Hey, would you guys be interested in a 32 v 32 BF3 organized gameplay tournament?

Basically, you pick one team (army) out of the four that we have: 7CAD, 8ID, 5MR or AMID. Each army is led by a General (Currently: Colonel because we are still in testing (Beta) status). Every friday and Saturday there will be a 6 hour battle you can take part in from 3 PM EST to 9 PM EST. The maps each week are chosen from from a bid system that we use.

Each side has their own organizational structure as established by their High Commanding Officers (HCOs). Each is broken down into several companies that has its own COs (Commissioned Officers), NCOs (Non Commissioned officers), and enlisted troops. Registration is open and the next battle is this weekend 8/10/2013

You will be assigned to a line company or mechanized infantry but can try out for armored, sometimes special forces or air force if you wish too.

Already a member of a clan? That's fine! You don't have to leave it to play with us. We're free to join, free to play! Many of our members are also in other clans. Some entire clans decide to come play on battle day, and do their own clan things on other days.

From the Americas to Europe to Asians, 21CW has players from all over the world in our ranks. Our ONLY requirements to play here are a desire for organized play, a willingness to follow orders, and the ability to have fun!

More questions? Look at our New Player Area or join us on TeamSpeak: ts.21cw.net:9121

Here's a link to the forums: http://21cwforums.com/forum.php [21cwforums.com]

If you come into our teamspeak, you will enter the Welcome room and you will have guest rights. That means you won?t be able to join the other channels yet. Scroll down untill you see someone with (TA) before his name (i'm one of them). They are the tournament leaders, the Admins. We also have some other groups of people who can grant you the right permissions to join the public teamspeak channels. If you can't find anyone, hop into the 'Need Help' room. Someone will come to you shortly.

I also have a video of a the end of a [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V797jbubFc8&feature=youtu.be"]really close [/ame]round so that you guys can get an idea of what the coordination is like. This is offcourse a BF3 video, as BF4 just has started and we've just began our Campaign.

You can also find us on the EGO servers:

eGO Server #1

eGO Server #2

eGO Server #3

Come play with us, meet some new friends, AWESOME players, and join our weekly battles!!

See you on the battlefield!

Cheers,

Seeing as that we are already a clan and would obviously play as eGO would we be doing this? and the one thing I can't find is dates, would that all be TBA?

I don't know if i understand you question correctly. See, we're not a clan playing other clans. We make armies from within the playerbase.

As for the dates. We play battles every week during a campaign. A campaign lasts for 13 weeks after which a General is declared Campaign Winner. After that, the outgoing Generals provide us, the Admins recommendations for new general candidates, new Generals are elected, new armies are formed and a new campaign begins. The good thing of that is that each new campaign the armies are different, so there's no telling what the outcome will be. I've seen armies losing the first 4 weeks in a row, then they started to organise REALLY well and turn things 180 degrees around. I've seen rounds ending by one (1) ticket difference.

You do NOT have to leave your clan, as i said before. However, during the battles, we need all army members to wear the same tags in teamspeak and on the server. We want difference to be made between the armies we have, ad not between the different clanmembers that attend our battles, because otherwise there's no telling who is on what army during a battle.

And that the beauty of it, we organise, make strategies and eventually one army has to win.

if you have any quesitons, just come into our ts and ask around ;)

Don't think of it as a take away, but as an addition to eGO. What 21CW provides is a place for structured, organized battles on a large scale. With opportunities for advancement based on effort, in-game and out-of-game abilities. Plus we have several seasons, or campaigns as we call them, a year. With new leadership and new armies each campaign. Allowing folks to rise quickly if they want. I for one went from private to General in 3 campaigns, or ~7 months.

I am the GM for 21CW. Recently, we partnered with y'all to help bring more people into the fold of organized BF. KillerCan and I have had several talks about what we do, what y'all do, and what we can do to help each other. And both of us agree we have things to offer the other. You folks provide a large community focused on a variety of games, playing them all loosely organized. With various competitions, events, etc. spread throughout the year. We however provide a community that is focuses on playing BF4 in a large-scale, organized manner. During a campaign there are practices every night (EU & NA), with the battles on the weekend. So there is an organized event twice daily during the week, or for 6+ hours on the weekends.

The difference is a matter of scale. Y'all do many disparate things well, we focus on trying to do one thing exceptionally. We would not have even posted up in here unless, through our discussions, KillerCan had told me that he felt we provide something that might interest some of y'all.

We have many members who are in clans, ladder teams, or have really busy real lives. I have always thought of 21CW as being in addition to these other things, not in place of. The only thing we ask of our casual players is that they attend 1 practice a week, just one hour of time a week, and then you can play as much or as little as you would like in battle.

I feel that our intentions are lost in the wall of text. All we are saying is that if you're looking for some sort of competition in addition to your eGO membership, but ladders and all that stuff aren't for you. Come check us out. We're a relaxed, fun, organized competition.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, put them in here, or find me on ts.21cw.net:9121 You will begin to see some of our members trickling over here, and we'd love to see some of you check us out too.

Lethaliss, I was hoping someone in eGO would respond to it, so you cleared up a lot that I was confused about, so that's why you didn't understand the question.

Everyone please sign up for the next campaign which starts shortly. I want to see a lot of eGO's in the tournament making us proud.

Also, when you register for the forums, remember to go to your email and activate your account with the link sent to you. Just like when you registered here. It's a defense against spambots that is painful, but necessary.

Ahh...that was it...ok thanks Dib19! So KILLERCANKILL responded :)

I hope y'all will join our campaign. We're e-casting them aswell, so y'all can follow everything live.

*BUMP*

We'd like more folks to sign up. Last weekend we had rounds that ended in a 2 ticket difference, rounds that one side came back from when they were at 45 tickets against 248 and won due to utter discipline, organisation and teamwork.

Like said, we're e-casting the battles with live commentators during our battles on Friday and saturday. So check it out guys!!

We had Battleweek 1 last weekend (nov 8 and 9), so de schedule will be as follows:

[STRIKE]November 8th & 9th - First Battle Week[/STRIKE]
November 15th & 16th - Second Battle Week
November 22nd & 23rd - Third Battle Week
November 29th & 30th - Fourth Battle Week
December 6th & 7th - Fifth Battle Week
December 13th & 14th - Sixth Battle Week
December 20th & 21st - 2 day playoff for overall Campaign victor.
December 22nd - Beta Campaign Official Closing Ceremonies
Decemeber 23rd-25th - 21CW off for the holiday.

The Setup

We will be doing a 4 way free for all campaign. With 2 Battledays per week. Friday battles will begin at 3PM Eastern. Saturday battles will begin at 1PM Eastern. 3PM was chosen because it is GMT-5/-6 depending on daylight savings. This gives our Euro players plenty of time (8PM) to get off work, have dinner & family time before they need to sign on. And by the time most of them are having to get out of battle, it will be time for the East and Central time players to have finished with their stuff and start getting on. It will also allow the West Coast folk to have several hours to play at the end of battle. These times might adjust during the campaign based on feedback.

When the official battle schedule of whom is fighting whom is posted, the divisions will be assigned their reinforcement partners as well. For example, Week 1 might see AMID & 5MR v. 8ID & 7CAD. AMID v. 8ID on Friday / 5MR v. 7CAD on Saturday. The next week will see the pair and opponents switched up. This reinforcement system is intended to give everyone as much play time as possible during the Beta campaign. Additionally to give folks the chance to meet and play with a large variety of community members. There will be rules in place to handle people who intentionally sabotage the team they are reinforcing.

Weekend 1's Battles will begin at 22v22 or 24v24. The final number will depend on the results of registration and the recruiting competition on the 3rd. If we have enough people on during the battles we will increase the size as needed up to a maximum of 30v30. The idea is it is easier to expand and build than to shrink. "Small steps to big victory" - RDG General.

The campaign will have 6 weeks of battle, 12 battles overall. Each battle will be worth campaign points. The weekend of December 20th & 21st will see a playoff for overall campaign victor. #2 & #3 will play Friday. #1 will play the winner Saturday. Reinforcement will be open that weekend. Anyone who attempts to sabotage the outcome of either battle will be banned from 21CW for the duration of Campaign 44. We are here to have fun as an organized community. If winning is so important to you you have to sabotage people during this building Beta period, then 21CW probably isn't the place for you.

During the Beta campaign we will be playing Conquest, Rush, and Obliteration. Our goal is to have Conquest battles at 30v30 for a minimum of 6hrs, maximum of 10hrs. All times and setups really depend on participation, so we need y'all to get here, get your friends here, and help recruit. Rush will be played with no more than 24v24 but for a minimum of 8hr, maximum of 10-12. It will also have a scoring system because the 'who wins the round gets a point' system we use in Conquest clearly doesn't work in Rush. The smaller number is because these maps really are just unplayable at 30v30, so to compensate for the lost slots we are extending the play time. Obliteration, we have no clue exactly how we're going to work it. We have no clue how it will play with organization. But we will be working closely with the HCOs and armies to determine the best setup to use it.

We want to use all 3 of these modes for several reasons:
It doubles or triples the amount of maps we have each release.
The tactics and strategy are different with changed goals. Yes we will be playing the same geography, but it is different in different modes.
Without any foreseeable chance of map tools being released, we must do things to extend the life of the map pool we have. Restricting assets is resoundingly unpopular, so this is the other major option.

The campaign is an "All Random" one. The Colonels are allowed to pick their HCOs and Company Commanding Officers, but everyone else will be randomly assigned. Take this opportunity to meet and make some new friends! As the campaign progresses and the Divisions grow in size the Colonels and their staff will be promoted and expanded to accommodate things. Remember, "Small steps to big victory" is my philosophy.

The Division that has the most folks showing up and recruiting on the November 2nd Pub/Recruiting Competition day will win a Divisional award and be able to pick their opponent and reinforcing Division for the 1st Battle week. Effectively setting the schedule for the rest of the battles.

Each member of the Division who wins the Beta campaign will receive an award signifying that they won the BF4 Beta Campaign.

Throughout the BF4 era, we plan to have official opening & closing ceremonies. During these ceremonies we will be announcing rules, giving out special awards, and inducting members into the 21CW Hall of Fame. For too long has that gone neglected, and we will be using it. More information about the nomination/voting process for that is to come later.

I think that is everything I can remember in relation to actual Beta campaign and it's schedule/setup. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Is it still like a $15 payment to switch teams?

Well...there's no switching team this campaign, unless there's an absolute urgent reason for it. And if that's the case, no transfer fee is charged this camp. Next camp it will be going normal again and the usual transfer fees will be in place aswell...yes.

Is it still like a $15 payment to switch teams?

This is a misunderstanding. This fee only applies to someone who has gone random, despite the warning to not try & defeat the system, and then wants to change.

In the normal course of things there are 2 methods of joining an army. Random (which is free) and pay to pick (which costs $6) The only reason we charge the 6 dollars is to cover our costs with minimal advertising for our members. But we have had many, many people try to avoid paying that fee and try to 'work the randomizer.' Hence the punishment fee of $15.

If someone cannot pay the $6, we have sponsorships available from members of the community to cover a person's pay to pick fee.

Starting with our Beta BF4 campaign, the one we're in now until Christmas, we offer all new members 1 free pay to pick. It does not have much bearing this campaign, but next campaign it will be there for those who desire to use it. This is so new folks can play with friends or those who recruited them.

In January we will enter our 44th campaign and 11th year of existence. So please, come check us out. As always, I am available for any questions either here or there as [IC]Dogma. Just ask Dib, helped him with his deluge of PMs.

This sounds like fun.

it IS fun :) I've been a member for more then 6 years now and played ALL ranks. Been General 3 times in a row and lead my army through 2 wins and one defeat. But the primary goal is to play organised and have fun.

If you have ANY questions, feel absolutely free to ask around, or send me a pm through our forums
