Fun Single-Player Games?

You might consider heavy rain. Its a bit old but it was an amazing game. Dragon age and skyrim would also make great choices.

A tad old but an awesome game in my opinion was Mirrors Edge. Creative, intense, fun. Choose to run from your enemies or take them down with hand to hand combat. I liked the fact that it did not focus heavily on weapons but they were there for you to use with limited ammo. The replay value is okay. Second one should be coming out soon after YEARS of anticipation

Mount & Blade: Warband is a couple of years old, but stupidly addicting.

For story and gameplay, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Portal 2 are HANDS DOWN the best single player games of this generation, for PC of course. If you had an Xbox360 or PS3, I would say Red Dead Redemption.

I have to second the portal games. They are not incredibly long, but they are addicting and crazy fun. Wait until the Black Friday or Christmas sale and you'll be able to practically pick them up for free.

Yeah I played Half Life 2, but never finished Ep: 2. Bioshock is pretty amazing... I just bought the entire Dead Space series, and played number 1, so I'll check those out. I was also thinking about the Silent Hill series. Skyrim is awesome, so I'll try that out.
