Battlefield 4 Massive FPS drops/Freezing

Since the most recent patch everything that was working fine now is not again. The CPU parking fix had resolved all my issues with the game. However today I was forced to update battlelog which in turn caused my game to experience massive FPS drops. The FPS drops do not appear to be caused by my CPU or GPU as I have been monitoring both and see no issues. My FPS remains above 200 on low and above 50 on ultra consistently. However every give or take 10 seconds my frames will suddenly drop down to below 18 or my game will freeze all together for 3-4 seconds. This has made the game literally unplayable, with the exception of commander mode(which still has issues with drops).


If anyone knows a fix or has any advice on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I expect I will not be playing until either the next battlelog update or the issues stop. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Friend I was playing with today had similar issue. Updated his drivers then it worked like a charm. Not saying it will work for you but its worth mentioning!

Just tried playing and interesting enough the fps drops have randomly stopped. I was reading up on it and it seems there have been issues with memory leaks which may have been the issue. Not sure if it is fully resolved but it seems to have improved. Thanks for the heads up, if it happens again ill try updating and see if it fixes it.
