CS:GO server?

What is going on with the cs:go server? :cursing::confused1::cursing:

What changes can we get over to leadership to get this server to where we will play and fill it up and get more people onto the server ??? What maps should be in rotation or a 24/7 map?


Please put down what you think then maybe we can get leadership involved to get the server turned around.. Tired of playing with just bots :-/

I have offered to have more events on there. I have said that I'll do the legwork. All they have to do is let me know when a good time will be so that it's not interfering with events that they are running on CS:S. In two weeks all I've heard back is that I haven't been forgotten. The event I did two weeks ago is the only time I've seen it have a decent number of people on. It's not the maps or the gametype. It's the fact that it's not supported by our community or leadership. The CS:S servers have drives to fill them. Once they're being filled, pubs come and we can recruit them. These are people that were looking to play on that type of server, therefore they are more likely to continue to play on that server and it stays busy. There are no drives to fill the CS:GO server, so we never see pubs and therefore never recruit people that are interested in playing on our server and it stays empty. When I was on there two Saturdays ago there were pubs in and out all day long. I tried recruiting some, but I'm not much of a recruiter and my attempts were in vain.

These are just my opinions. I don't think that the server is going to get any better until we start getting some actual sustained interest from within the division to fill it. Changing the map isn't going to get that done. We need events and drives, just like every other server in every other division. The CS:GO server is just neglected, and therefore it stays empty.

Why wouldn't it make it thru the weekend? We are a community people putting input is only ideas for leadership to look at and into to get more people onto the server.
