Why not name each TS3 room after our servers?
That way we can choose to be in the same room as the others playing on the same server.

What if people from different servers still wanted to talk? Or if people wanted to swear there'd still probably be one R room.

Sure.
I didn't say you had to be there, just that it would be easier to get people on the same server in the same room.

Just tell me, how hard is it and how long does it take to move from one room to another?

This idea has come up in the past. The thought works when you fist log in; however many people do not stay in the same server and tend to bounce around. People also get upset if they see a group in their favorite server channel to find them playing in another server or another game altogether. Generic names allows people flexibility and freedom while staying in the BF community.

On paper it sounds like a solid idea, but, once you actually put it in place it probably won't work that well because people will change servers which means that they will need to change channels. Adding on to that point, there will need to be multiple R rated rooms for each server which would double the amount of channels.

I didn't really envision such a complicated setup.
Just keep one R-rated room and name the other rooms after the servers.
People can choose where they want to be of course.

I really like playing team based and it's kind of hard when people on the same server are in a couple of different rooms. Where do you go?

So I thought it could make it more likely to have more people in the same channel/server with this kind of setup.
Have seen it done in other Clans and it worked better there.

No biggie.

Way back when the division first started as just BC2, we had it set up so that each server at the time had its own room. It was short lived because members didn't really care that much about what server they were in. Back then, everyone just hopped on vent just to hang out, play, or just shoot the breeze. We've really haven't reconsidered this because there wasn't a huge issue/demand for it since we've took it down.
