Ok I just got it thanks to our wonderful Operation-X division. So... I am so lost when I play this though, I need some help!

There's no real way to explain how to play Gmod as a whole. There are dozens upon dozens of completely different types of Gmod servers and game modes which vary radically. You'll have to be more specific when you are asking for help. If you're referring to TTT (Trouble in Terrorist Town), you can hit F1 in game and it explains how to play.

Look up some YouTube videos of people playing the different game modes. There is too many to count haha

These about sum it all up haha. There are so many different game modes you just have to try them out or look up some videos on them.

Mayhem since when have you become the "MUST KEEP TOPICS RELATED TO CSS" guy. People obviously want to talk about GMod with their CSS brethren.

Also the game is silly(but in a ridiculous fun way) but there's no reason he should have to learn it all himself, there's guides on how to play pretty much every popular game type if you look around.

so [j]cap, just Google whatever game type you want to know how to play and you should get a place to start, and im sure when the eGO server opens that there will be plenty of people willing to help you understand the game

There are plenty of tutorials around the internet. Trust me it gets really easy once you know what you are doing!
