Hi, names UnderCoverSpy16
If ya don't know me it's okay, I do not own any CS games but I will be hanging out with you guys. I am part of the TF2 division so You will see me mostly there but I will be here because i heard CS is fun (of course tf2 is better) but double the fun :3
Okay questions:
-what is jail?
-what is the difference between Global Offensive and Source?
-Is there such a thing as quick scoping or is that just Black Ops? XD
-What is the objectives of Counter strike? capture flags?
Well, this shows i know nothing about this :3
I'll see you guys around the CS division :D
Also something about me... I love Napoleon and strats in war :3

First off, welcome to the CS forums! We are glad to have you here. :D

1. Jail is a custom Counter-Strike plugin that we have a server for. The objective for jail is to either, as a prisoner, rebel, or get LR (Last request, basically where the last prisoner alive gets to tell the guards to do whatever he wants them to do (that follows eGO rules)) The guards must watch the prisoners to make sure they do not rebel. The warden makes the prisoners play minigames in which the losers should be killed, until there is 1 prisoner left (LR).

Sorry if this explanation is bad, I do not know how to exactly describe jail.

2. Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) is an older version of Counter-Strike than Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)

3. Quick scoping is not really a big thing in CS, there is of course scoping in when you see and enemy and then shooting as fast as possible, but it is quite inaccurate if you shoot right when you scope in, from my experiences, I do not know if that is a fact though.

4. The objective of Counter-Strike is to either A. plant the bomb(Terrorist), or B. rescue the hostages (Counter-Terrorist), and then to stop the other team from doing what ever they are required to do. (plant the bomb or rescue hostage)
