That is one of the most annoying bugs. Sometimes it can be fixed by typing:

record demo; stop

into the console.

Reloading your HUD might also help:

typing hud_reloadscheme into the console

This. Every TF2 user should know these commands. Because my integrated graphics are utter crap, I have a bind for it.

Use the record command whenever models are invisible (Invisible enemies), when props are out of place, or when playermodels are messed up.
