I agree with you on this. But at the Admin Roundtable, it was expressed that this server is for the eGO community alone so server stats and ranks are not really a concern. They want us to help vote for a server that we will have fun on and enjoy, regardless of whether or not it would rank well.

So everyone should feel free to vote selfishly on what they think would be the most fun. :biggrin:
 
no 24/7 Pokemon, I suppose custom maps will have to do :D
 
I say set it up as a custom rotation server and enable voting to allow it to change depending on who is on.
 
Stop voting for black mesa people, and Custom Map will have the same faith than InstaGib. I believe the only reason eGO servers have people from time to time is because there are some good players on it. And custom maps is just for trolling.
 
I hope everyone that votes for certain maps will help fill it... we tried a 2fort 2 before it didn't turn out so well, if we don't keep it filed WR will lose it again everyone. Plus no fail fort please. If anything Egypt #2

Honestly, we still usually need to fill Egypt at almost every 9 hours or so, so I doubt we'd have reason to have a duplicate server. Even a 2Fort #2 would not be a wise choice. Ever since we knocked 2Fort down from 32 slots, I feel like it just isn't as popular. Besides, who even goes on 2Fort within our division? I can think of only like 15 people who actually hop on 2Fort daily. It's as if it's a whole other segment of the division. If this server is supposed to be for our entertainment, using it as a second server for an already existing server wouldn't really be something new and exciting.

Oh if this server is for the eGO community mostly then it would be cool to run custom maps. Since every other server runs all of these maps that are talked about except for Arena. I was personally thinking about how we would fill these servers via quick play and knew that only the regular map servers would show up in quick play.

I'll be more than happy to fill these servers to whatever that change though.
 
I already voted the other day, but I voted for 2fort #2, KOTH (more variety as already stated) and custom.

yes custom maps may just be for trolling and the same goes for orange maps (ESPECIALLY if they have low grav), but they don't seem to have much of a problem getting people in them and staying.
 
Why does Sawmill only have 7 votes? Really, didn't Crash convince you to vote for it?
