yah that could come in handy... seeing that anyone can make a spray thanks to my tutorial :D:D:D

but ya i think ive seen that on the fpsbanana website before... =/

oh ya here it is:

edit: oh nvm you made it so it says edge gamers instead of tf2 cleaning council... cool :D

im bumping this thread because i think all admins should use this instead of the default tf2 spray from fpsbanana

On this topic, I've been wondering... do admins have any way of knowing what player a spray belongs to?

Yep, we have a thing called spraytracking that lets us see what player the spray belongs to.

yep thats what i do, and i warn the player if its a bad spray, and cover it with this one. but i think there should be an option in the admin to get rid of sprays :D

It is important to trace before covering so that if it recurs we can post a ban request. By the way you do not need to be an admin to do this--I was able to do so prior to my privileges being set. If you see something wrong, take a screen capture with your trace and post it. Warn the player. If they do it again, request a ban. I bind trace spray to F2 (suggested by senior admins, and I find it an incredibly convenient key). The format for binding for anyone who's not familiar with it (as I wasn't) is simply: bind "f2" "sm_tracespray"

You can do this from console, or you can create an autoexec.cfg in your C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[your steam id]\team fortress 2\tf\cfg folder. You can create the file in notepad, add the binding and save as autoexec.cfg and next time you hit f2 with your aiming reticule over a spray, you'll know who did it.

Oh, you didn't mention that it was a plugin... there I was trying to figure out why the command wouldn't work :P

coolio...

darwin, call me a copycat or whatever, but we sorta have the same userbar....... O.o

This is one thing I really like about Edge Gamers. You guys try your best to keep stuff clean. I pretty much stopped playing CSS because I got so sick of the sprays and all the crap coming over the com. (Still I might try the Edge CS Servers sometime). Thanks guys :)
