trouble with importing spray

whenever i try to import a spray it says image file corrupt and ive tried uploading all different types. i do resize them in irfan view. any suggestions?

The easiest way to get a general spray without using photoshop to change the file into a .vtf is to pick out your spray in CS:S and use it in a CS:S game. Aftr you spray it in a game you need to go and find it in your CS:S folder. My extension is something like

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos

Then all you need to do is cut and paste or copy and paste that .vtf file into your logos file in your tf2 file and select it in tf2 options menu. Thats the easiest way I found. Hope it helps ya.

Or you can get SpratR and it'll convert them for you. It'll do animated ones too. It saved to c:\ because it doesn't have the ability to save into the games yet.

This will create the .vtf and .vti files for you. Copy them from c:\ to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\whatever name\team fortress2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos\

You might have to create the folder. I had to. Then all you have to do is open the game and select it.
