hl2.exe crash

Every time I'm playing dods, and playing on the avalanche server, hl2.exe keeps crashing but on the other maps it doesn't crash, anyone know why?

it's the motd you have to disable it, sadly dod has to be done va console and i don't know the command.

apparently that didnt work as i typed that in and hl2.exe crashed straight away :crying:

Have you tired verifiying the integrity of the game cache?
Rightclick on the game in your Steam library and then go to "Properties"
Under the "Local Files" tab, click the last button that says "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE..."
That helped me out with issue with my game before. Let me know if this helps!
