The second elephant is the kinds of troops being donated. Despite requests for specific troops (i.e. dragons, wizards, etc.) by most clan members, some clan members disregard such details and donate whatever they please.
Ok guys, I believe there's an elephant in the room - well, two really - and it's about time they get pointed out.
The first elephant is that some clan members are almost exclusively receiving troop donations without donating any themselves. For example, one clan member's stats last season was something to the ridiculous effect of around 10 troops donated with over 500 received. Do the math if you need to, but the point is that there isn't an even weight being pulled among all clan members. (Note: I am not saying it needs to be a 1-1 troops donated/received ratio, but I am giving an extreme case of what seems to be inequality in helping out other clan members.) Fair to say this could be for a few reasons such as lower resources available or lower leveled troops, but it still just doesn't sit well with me. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
The second elephant is the kinds of troops being donated. Despite requests for specific troops (i.e. dragons, wizards, etc.) by most clan members, some clan members disregard such details and donate whatever they please, wasteful to the donor and upsetting to the recipient. Unfortunately you would have to be present at the time of donation to see who is doing this to you (as opposed to just looking at the clan stats for the first issue I mentioned), so it's harder to catch.
I don't have any perfect ideas of how to address either of these issues, which is why I'm posting this here. I do think that clan members having been warned of the second issue should be kicked for repeated offenses though. Again, let me know what you guys think.
this is sometimes used for loot only raids and the additional troops of the sort equals a bit more loot swiped.
