Battlefield Division Stepping down...

So after long and careful consideration, I am stepping down as DL and taking a long break from eGO. For those that dont know, I am a stay at home dad due to a car accident, and being only 32, I want to get back to work. Which means 1) Back surgery , 2) going back to school, and 3) getting a job.

In my almost 5 years with eGO, I have made tons of friends and lots of memories.
I love this community a great deal and will still be in our servers and TeamSpeak when I can. But right now, I need to set my focus and heart on things to get me where I need to be in my personal life.

Mad respect Super, I am going to miss your insight and overall cheerful attitude. You will be sorely missed, but I take solace in the fact that you are taking control of your life despite your accident and are moving on with the next chapter in your life.

I hope to see you on still every now and again so that I can joke with you and alleviate some of the pressure that I feel on to you! XD just kidding, but I will miss you!

You will be missed. Wishing you loads of luck in all three steps and hope to see you in the servers and on TS every now and then even though you'll have your nose to the grindstone. Best of luck Super.
 
Thank you everyone!

This wasn't an easy decision for me to make. Since I have been with eGO, I have only cared for 1 division, and that is the BF Division. Surely I could have stayed DL and done what I could with little time I have. But to me, that is not the right thing to do. I feel that if I can not give 110% to you guys as a DL, then it would best for me to step down and let someone else with more determination and time to make this division into something even greater.

When life settles down, I will be back in full swing and looking to pick up where I left off. Not sure when that will be, but I know I will miss you guys and gals greatly!
 
It's always sad to see such a long time veteran and leadership member step down but we all understand real life happens. Go and get your real life fixed up and good luck to it all
 
Since the two of us had lengthy discussions already, I will keep it short and sweet.

You're doing the right thing. You will be missed.
 
Awwww... Super, now the closest active eGO member is gonna be in Oregon. I'm gonna miss playing with you.
 
Good luck man! Don't forget you got a family here to support you too! Thanks for everything that you have done for the community as a whole and especially the battlefield division.
 
I was just warming up to you and getting to know you :/ Thank you for caring about not just the Battlefield division, but for each of us individually like parenting me when I was sick with bronchitis and telling me to get some rest. Hope to see you around - you're great to talk to, and good luck following your dreams (not that you'll need it).
 
its sad to see you step down and we will miss you. at the same time its great to see you set yourself such a great goals in life and i wish you the best of luck reaching those. i hope we still get to talk in ts every now and then.
