Here is the e-mail I sent EGO regarding their immature Admins on TF2. Be aware of their actions and DON'T let them get away with BS rules and banning practices!!!

I wanted you all to be aware that your Admins are crap! They are too focused on banning people in such an unfair and BS fashion that soon, no one will be respecting the "EGO" name.

EX: TF2 server for 24/7 Warpath 12:15am PST.

About 5 of my friends and I were playing on your server. Several rounds went by and everything was fine. Soon it appeared that a couple of your "Admins" showed up to the server. Everything became crap after they showed up.


Ex 1:
Blue team set up a sentry in a good location. We were Red team. No one complained. Next game. We are Blue, your admin is on Red. We set up the SAME sentry in the SAME location. Player 1 (blue) was banned for not taking the sentry down after Admin (red) complained to him regarding the location.

Ex2:
During the WHOLE time I was playing, several players had been continuously using profanity over voice chat. I said "Bastard" talking to my friend through text chat and Admin told me not to cuss or I'd be Banned. 1st and only warning. I simply asked the explanation of why everyone else can cuss over voice chat but that I can't in text, why they were picking on me, and why they kicked Maul0r for placement of a sentry gun (In a fair location btw. No cheating/codes/etc. Clear view and can easily be taken down by a soldier).

I had been fluctuating between 1st-3rd placement on team scoreboards....AND I'm a chick (I know how few of us there are) I told your Admins they were using poor practice for a server admin and their hypocritical judgment was gay. I didn't cuss after requested not to. I abreviated "BS" in my conversation but I guess your Admins feel threatened by a chick that can play better than they do so I was banned as well.

Wanted to let you all know as stated before that if your admins are gonna ban people from "their" servers because they're losing and have no other reason to ban players, it's unfair practice, bad business and I can guarentee that everyone I know will no longer be playing on your EGO servers. Now, thanks to your admins 30/32 players on that server think your "EGO" clan is a joke and a bunch of jerks.


I will be posting devastating remarks about your "Clan" to several forums regarding how your admins are sore losers and act as if they FINALLY have SOME control over others. I do not wish for the ban to be lifted for I will NOT be returning to ANY of your servers. Also, for all of the clans asking me to join them, I will be informing them of their "competition". I will also let other female players know about your sexist admins.

Okay this was posted as a complaint by Mrs. Taquito who as you can see has an extremely poor attitude. She is accusing the banning admin of abuse and all around being a moron and sexist to boot. After pulling the logs we discover that the banning admin was none other than myself good ole Sailor.

If you were not at the meeting last night in which I spoke about this, I wanted all of you to know that these guys were giving us a hard time and talking back to us questioning everything we were saying. On the opposite team Duality an eG asked them to do some very simple things and they refused. They started to give him some lip along with cursing and thats when I stepped in. Long story short I banned both of em and im not sorry about it, in fact this little arogant rant of hers is proof that they dont belong in our servers.

Its not the first time ive been reported for admin abuse and it wont be the last. Thats why im showing this to you all, I did nothing wrong but handle a problem and I expect you all to do the same. As long as you are using please when you ask them and show respect, they will either compy or they wont. When they wont you bring down the hammer on their asses!

I wont be mad at you for making a call like this guys, hell I will give ya a high five if I could. Dont be afraid to use your admin, sometimes coming into a chaotic server is like walking in on a bar fight. Sometimes you just gotta wade into the thick of it and smack some heads together before people will listen to you.

Feel free to comment just dont spam nonsense in this thread, if you got something usefull to add then do it.

AttikusV (eGO) asked me about this situation as I was apparently listed as a present admin at the time of the incident (I never got a chance to see the post in the ban forums before it was taken down). I don't really recall "Taquito" but this banning seems like business as usual. The immaturity is proven in her statements that "other people did it, why can't I?" The proof is in the pudding. The last thing I care about is winning a round or leading a scoreboard, and I certainly don't want people with that attitude ruining the game for everyone else. I wasn't at the meeting and I'll search for the recorded version after I post this, but I wanted to clarify something on Warpath. I've warned someone about taking down buildings and SG's from the second point's roof, and they complied, although I wasn't entirely sure if it was a blatant map exploit. I responded to the complaints of other players and made sure the game could continue without other players feeling shortchanged by an unfair advantage. The person that I warned complied after some coaxing, and I eventually played on the same team as him and had a great time, so I'm glad it didn't come to a conclusion like the situation noted in this post. There are plenty of other servers to join if you want to talk back to the admins, but our servers will not put up with it. Hopefully Taquito's rant in other forums will keep her kind away from our servers. This is the main reason I'm proud to be a part of Edge Gamers. I get enough nagging at home, and this hobby is an escape from childish behavior, so thanks for being a good leader in this situation Drunken.

i think its funny that she threatened to tell everyone how bad eGO is, but you guys have 10 eGO servers and they stay full most of the time

Eh there will always be punks. I personally ran a CSS and BF2 server and got complaints a lot but after checking the logs (I know voice is not included) I found that most of the charges were bogus. The only true worry is in regards to BF2 which has a EULA that restricts what you can and can't do with the server. I reported one clan who was stats padding to EA and in the end they had their server pulled and their accounts reset. This was the only server I ever played on and was banned from. I think I heard the idea of a BF2 server but keep in mind that punk admins (which I don't think is a problem with this clan) can lead to trouble. Just my 2 cents.
