I'd like to give a shoutout to all our military vets and those currently serving on the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
Thank you all so much for your service to our country. I can't tell you enough how much it is appreciated.

Being in the military for 18 1/2 years now and deployed to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once, I truly take my hat off to those that were there on D-Day!! The courage and intestinal fortitude that must have taken is far beyond anything I could imagine. And salute to all my brothers and sisters hat have given the ultimate sacrifice. You are never forgotten!!

I watched both the feature of D-Day in HD as well as The World Wars. I believe that D-Day in HD definitely brought to light a lot of information that we really didnt know about the actually events on June 6th itself. I hope that my local store is still selling the Time magazine version of the 70th anniversary, so I can pick it up. That will definitely be some nice prize material to show my kids in the future.

In the end though, all branches that served on D-Day will always have my salute and deepest respect.
