Multi-Core Support in TF2

First off a multi-core is a CPU that has multiple CPU cores on the chip. Today you will find most CPUs are dual core which means you have one CPU chip but it has 2 independent CPUs on that chip so you get two CPUs. The technology has been around for a while (in tech years) but in order for you to take full advantage of it you need a program that knows how to feed information effectively to both cores. Secondly I have heard that there are stability issues with dual core support with TF2 so I say use at your own risk... in other words I will try it on my desktop which can explode in a fiery death without me caring but I won't try it on my laptop until Valve officially supports it.

Does anyone know if our servers have this setting on?

I'm pretty sure we do. I'm not sure if this is just my imagination, but it seems I'm getting around a 10 FPS boost.

Since it's unsupported and beta, and may crash, I highly doubt that it's enabled on our servers. But anything is possible.
