I only see my friend's avatars (pics) in game , all other peeps I dont see them anymore (since that upgrade?)

Avatars have been disabled on the servers AFAIK, too many people having to be asked to change theirs.

I didn't realize this, but if that were the case, it would make sense that you still see some. This would be due to your system having those avatars already cached.

Too many disrespectful avatars, that is why.
You can still your friend's avatars.

I for 1 agree with the change. Remember the infamous "ahem" red Canadian maple leaf? I asked so many people to change porn pic's it was bordering on lunacy. And they usually say "you wont see it unless you look at REALLY hard". Good riddance to them. Friends list only was the way to go!

Wow, too many people being asked to change it. I played 70-80 hrs aevery 2 weeks of TF2 for about 2 months and asked 1 person to change their avatar.... hmmmmm

I don't think I ever saw one that offended me before the update.
There where some rather busty girls in a few, but nothing offensive.

my problem is i cant pull up the player list on our servers either to add friends i dont play many other places this would be where i want to add friends from i think somehow these 2 issues are related

Yeah I can't either, wanted to add a couple people I played with a few days ago, and they weren't in the list. B)

Oh I could not see other people's avatars since the last patch, and was thinking it was a bug caused by the new patch. I guess I have never paid too much attention to them, but now they are gone I kinda miss it.
