Battlefield 4 New monitor

So my birthday is coming up and I figured I'd treat myself to a new monitor. I ended up picking out the Asus VG278HE, did I waste my money on the 27"? I have heard a lot of good things about the 24" 140hz but not a lot about this one.

Happy Birthday, Shadow. I got the VG248QE with 144Hz and 1ms GTG. Rated one of the two best along with the BenQ xl2420z. The reviews I read said once you hit 24 inches, your picture does not get any better and for most it tends to look worse. 24 was big enough for me and most reviews rated the two I mentioned as #1 & #2. I got my son the ASUS and I use the BenQ. I love them both. Just my honest opinion.
