Anime Akame ga Kill

Has anyone been watching this series? I haven't read the manga at all but these first couple of episodes have been pretty great! Really serious when it needs to be but light-hearted at not so serious moments. The action, and characters are pretty awesome so far, but not much story, but enough to keep me interested.
What are your guys thoughts on the series so far??

Read the manga and its worth the watch. The flow is different and sometimes the tone is off from the manga, but over all its very good. Just hope it hold to the manga. It does get very dark tho.

I have a friend who read the manga and is really tempting me with threats of spoilers. I will not give in!

It's one of those animes where the more the writers focus on a single character, the more they're likely to die in the next episode.

As a manga reader, the anime pleases me since it followed the source material accurately. Hopefully it will keep it that way when time comes.
