Oh no! Not another one of these! Anyway, bare with me and we can all get through this together... I was going to do this next month when it was my actual 2-year B-Day, but after reading Acefire's story, I wanted to do it right away.

I was first introduced to eGO through the 24/7 DoD:S Donner server. Man, I use to play the hell out of that map. I would say AT LEAST 1100 of my 1650 hours on DoD:S were on that server. Anyway, after playing on the server for about 3 months, I noticed a message on the bottom of the chat saying eGO was recruiting and where to go. So, I went to edge-gamers.com and with the help from Q-Tip and Chuck Norris, I became an =(e)= on August 26th, 2012. Within in 10 weeks of joining EdgeGamers, I was promoted to eG and eGO, both times being nearly scared to death by Annihilator and LungBuster. Great times were had in the DoD:S division, from events to server filling to hanging out in Ventrilo.

In March of 2013, I decided it was time for a new scenery. And that is when I was welcomed with open arms into the Call of Duty division (Also joined the PSC around this time). Within my first week in the new division, I was promoted to Event Coordinator by @ppl3p! and KROME. Just like in DoD:S division, great times were had and event coordinating was awesome! The evetns included Zombies, Freeze Tag, Hide and Seek, Paintball, etc. I'll never forget staying up with C-RAMS till 5 in the morning looking for new maps for the CoD zombie server. About 5 months had pasted and on August 15th, 2013 (11 days before my first eGO B-Day), I was promoted to EC Advisor for the Call of Duty Division. The next 3 and a half weeks after that were the best days I had in eGO. Then, on September 5th, the Call of Duty division was shut down. Great regular and leadership members were lost. However, DarkRaven (other CoD EC advisor at the time) and myself were kept as advisors because of how new we were. We both moved on to the PSC division as advisors, which lasted a few months. After a short time in PSC, I became a "Line" Advisor for a while.

In February of 2014, I received a message from USCG Hammer about the possibility of CoD:4 making a return to eGO under OPX and myself and DragonD being the advisors to lead it (I nearly jumped out of my computer chair). As everyone knows, CoD is back! In mid-May of this year, I stepped down as advisor and EC for CoD (OPX) due to not having enough time to be there. Now, I am back in the DoD:S division, switching from playing Day of Defeat: Source and CS:GO.

In conclusion, the people, servers, and overall atmosphere of eGO have been great. It's been a real back and forth over the last 2 or so years, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Here's to many, many more years in eGO. Below is a list some of the people I've had the honor to meet and hang out with in eGO and have really been great friends while I've been here (there are SO many other people that can and should go on this list, but I don't think anyone wants to read 75+ names :P)

Bruce Lee
@ppl3p!
Betweentheeyes
Sgt. Jack
FrikFry (Best DL ever in eGO)
Chuck Norris (Go Hawks!)
Q-tip
Redbud Shankers (Not in eGO but a Donner Regular)
DarkRaven
Gear

eGO is like a brother or sister you never had, but always wanted.

eGO is like that anime club or social hall you always wanted to be in.

I've been here nearly as long but sadly only started being really active in the last 6 months or so. But playing csgo matches with you, Bruce, jack, emoney, Q-tip, and many others have been some of my best eGO memories. Same goes for filling DoD servers with megs and anni and the rest of the dods choir, playing realism, especially the campaign (which I'm sadly missing most of due to travelling) It's been so much fun, and I'll be sticking around for a long while :)

Wait...you've only been here for (almost) 2 years? I thought you had been here wayyyyyyyyyyyy longer than that. :confused1:

Time flys when you're playing here, I can't believe I'm coming up to my 5 year mark myself. Nice read Poo! Never knew you were originally from DoD:S.

My name isnt there :~: many fun times with you whoflung! I appreciate your advice always
