I had the most fun I have had in a long time playing TF2. Great event, with great players and my favorite map. Please no V2 Mesa nights.

Glad to hear it! Sanctified sure knows how to put on a good event and I believe we had Jack around for his first mesa co-hosting

As for Black Mesa V2, there's a love/hate relationship with that map soo its not used that much other than for maybe mid-week shenanigans.

It's like comparing Space Battleship Yamato to Star Blazers. The second it based on the first, but it is not the first and never ever will be.

What's the difference between 1 and 2?

Biggest differences are the spawns (which now have even more exists) and the whole A area. Also there are lasers that will kill you as well as headcrabs spawning that will fear you. Overall not as good as the original, but it's not horrible.

I dominated Kazoo a couple times there. And held my last one till the end of the event. Also afterwards at Harvest I dominated her again. =D

Black Mesa 1 vs Black Mesa 2

• No vaccumm tubes to L and C points.
• "A" point (mid) has a rocket thing inside which can be triggered on by the consoles (dont ask me how) which cause the person inside trying to cap to be locked in and burned to death.
• as mentioned, a laser will appear and a monster sorta spawns that will crit kill you at L and C points.
• Stairs are replaced by escalators to C and L points.

There was a very long time I only played on that server, long before I joined eGO. Many old timers are still here, some are not. Aimshot was maddening to play against on BM, as were many others.
