5 AP classes, taking ACT/SAT. Getting into that Junior swag. Go back on the 18th.

Do you mind if i ask what AP courses, and what exactly STEAM is?
Do you mean S.T.E.M as in science, technology, engineering, and math?

Now's a good time to explain.

STEAM is a newly adopted program available only to juniors... so that's a good I guess.

Yes, it is technically STEM as in "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics," but I guess it had to be a whole new program thingy now that it has Fine Arts included in the bunch.

Basically, all it does is enforce AP and National-Honor clubs upon its registrants (hey look it's a word) and allows people to take part in their own project/experiment that they made with their blood, sweat, and tears without any middlemen like teachers involved. Which can involve an internship if you want to do that.

Lots of leniency. Basically embodies what I want to do as a career. Pretty awesome.

Oh yeah, and I'm taking AP US History (affectionately called APUSH at my school) and AP Physics I, because cramming eight college credit hours of physics into a year of high school was too hard. (It actually was.)

i'm homeschooled ;)

Honest question, do you even need to take that many AP classes? That just seems like a dumb amount of AP classes to take, will all of them transfer over, will you be able to pass all the tests.

I took 4 AP classes throughout my high school years as well as took the 4 tests and challenged one more test. With everything I did I was burned out with just 2 a year. I can't possibly imagine what 5 in one year is like.

I'm so happy I don't have to deal with AP classes and such anymore, college is so much better and the classes are so much more interesting. Yay for starting my Junior year of college soon!

Nah not really needed. Regular classes tend to bore me so that's why I take them, passing the tests will be simple enough. It's pretty dumb but all of them do transfer over.

I don't wanna take my ACTs, anyone want to do them for me

I never took the ACT...I will take it for ya storm...just dont get mad if ya dont get into college!

Starting on the 19th. Hopefully the boredom of summer will vanish not long afterwards.

In what forsaken part of the world does school start at the beginning of August? <insert diatribe against the self-aggrandizing schizophrenic monolith that is the educational system>

What? I have literally never heard of starting school in September except in Asia. I always thought the norm was the second Monday of august.

That's the south for ya.

West coast schools start in Sept.

Almost everywhere in US (and Canada) starts after the Labor Day weekend in September.
