I noticed that my 24/7 Dustbowl server disappeared from my favorites after the update. Normally I wouldn't assume anything, except that a 24/7 Badlands server also mysteriously appeared in my favorites. Was Dustbowl replaced with Badlands?

One of the Dustbowls seems to have been.

Though, replacing a server that is always full when gravel is consistently in need of filling?

*shrugs*

[/quote1203037368]I assume it is to allow a bit of change of map selection.

What?!? Well if it was then awesome! If not, awesome! Both are really fun maps ^^

Yeah, but 2Fort is a classic. I have absolutley no data to back this up, but I would venture to guess that 2Fort is probably the most played TF2 map out there.

In other news, am I the only person who prefers to use the console to connect to eGO's servers? Maybe I'm just weird.

No other map has changed besides the Dustbowl #2 server. We still have a Dustbowl server, this is just a way to see how Badlands works. It will also be rather popular since everyone will want to try it out for the first time.

The other servers startup command line still needs to change. Valve also overwrote the mapcycle.txt so you may see some map changes in error from time to time. That should be fixed by Saturday.

Possible downtime on all 6 servers will be expected this weekend as I upgrade to the latest Admin release.

Regardless of the error causing it, I had a blast in Granary last night. I like the idea that, on occasion, we can host a different map for a while.

Yeah, since Dustbowl #2 switched (I can never find/get in to Dustbowl #1), I've been playing a lot more on Gravel Pit and having a good time with a change of pace.
