I'm honestly sad to announce this, but the second half of the dynamic DL team is stepping down as well.
This was an incredibly difficult decision to make. I dedicated many hours to this division, first starting with the revival of Valve Maps. My favorite server, the one that brought me to eGO, was Valve Maps. And I put many hours into the server so that it would stick around. Then I was brought up to EC, where I had tons of fun hosting events for everyone, despite having initially been shy.
Eventually, I was promoted for EC Advisor (after I taught a few classes as an AT). Then the following April's Fool, I was promoted to Division Leader. Throughout my time in Leadership, I helped out with ATs, RHs, FFTF, and the Comp Team. All these programs are very important to me, and I enjoyed helping out where I could. Sometimes the role was stressful, but I enjoyed volunteering my time for one reason: you. Each and every one of you made all the work I put into eGO worth it. I enjoyed keeping the division organized, structured, and running like a well-oiled machine. I enjoyed the thanks I received from people who I helped out. I enjoyed being able to give back to the community that made TF2 my favorite game of all time.
I would not be here if it weren't for you guys. Even though we're not the same division when I first joined, since so many people have joined and left since then, it's still dabes!
So why am I stepping down? It's because I have many things on my plate at the moment due to real life, and any stress from being DL isn't helping me right now. I really didn't want to step down, but it's for the best. However, this does not mean I am leaving! I will be hanging around as an admin. I won't be able to be on as much due to upcoming midterms and group projects. But I am not leaving. After all, who else would hand out the many crits granted from the RNGods?
Anyway, a big thanks to all of you who expressed appreciation to us in leadership. It means so much to me to hear the appreciation. I know, without a doubt, that all my effort and time to the division was worth it.
