Worst/Best School Memories?

Hmm... The only best memory that comes to mind is in the last few days of the last school year, my chemistry teacher did this thing where we could HOLD FIRE. (Essentially, she bubbled propane through dishwasher soap, and as it creates a stack of bubbles, all you have to do is slice off some bubbles with your hands and hold them in front of you while someone else lights the bubbles.)

My worst memory has to be the day in middle school where I got a really nasty crick in my neck, and for at least two days, any movement there would hurt so much I would be driven to tears. I've never had a worse crick since.
At least, this did help people notice my existence. (Pff)

School memories- those are rough. I was the kid people would fall back onto and make fun of to feel better. That was when I had to learn to hide all my emotions from everyone, because if I showed any, it would just lead to more. Something's you don't forget, and cand stop, that's why I'm such a robot and don't smile, laugh, nothing. That also explains why I literally have no real friends, I couldn't trust anyone. I'm trying to learn how to feel emotions again, it's hard but Im making no progress. :( <-- that is what I call emotions. The worst memory is the one I don't remember. When I learned to show no emotion, apparently he knocked me clean unconscious. Good memories: none.

I do actually relate to this. Once upon a time, I was a really rambunctious, extroverted kid in elementary school, but when my family moved south as I entered middle school... whump. You hear that? That's the sound of my social life going down the toilet.

My best idea for getting new friends is let people approach you. If you're doing a project with someone, act polite and submissive, but add your understanding of concepts in said project to support both of your perception of the topic. Being silent but keeping core ideas like politeness, thankfulness, and the promise of efficiency present in your head and as goals to act towards others, people will see you as a more approachable, sociable person.

You know, this sounds like a good thing to put on my Blog section.

Sorry for the bump

I try, but because my history with people, I cant. It is now in my nature to avoid people. And since unknown went as far to tell about himself, I guess I will to. Note: I'm not trying to sound like I'm worse than unknown. I'm just telling my story, this isn't a competition.

Unknown almost killed himself. I almost killed my self 2 times, and considered it 5 times. 3 times I stopped because I realized what I was doing. 2 times I almost did end it all. Both had one thing in common. Mental, and physical harassment, and beating. The first was 7th grade when I was beat to below nothing. I was about a 1/2 inch from ending it with a knife. Then a verse from the bible came into my head. Why, I don't know. John 3:16 for God so loved the world he gave his only son. That was the first one. The second happened 8th grade year, when I was worse off than the first time. This time. I shouldn't have survived. I have ADD, and I take meos to control it. After the beating that occurred the day before, I OD'd on my meda. I took 3x my daily norm. I shouldn't have survived it, but I did. Why? I don't know. But I get to live with memories of beating, and attempted suicide. I couldn't trust anyone so I was, and still am, the outsider of everyone. Then eGO happened. I trusted few people in the beginning, but slowly built up trust to where I am now. I feel as if I can trust eGO more than people I meet face to face. I feel this way probably because the only thing anyone could do is say things, which I am use to, and can handle. I can't get beat up over teamspeak or messages. There's the story of me. I hope I made the right choice trusting everyone with this about me. I really do...

I felt like that has been hiding inside of me for long enough, I had to let it go.

We've all been through hard times in our lives and sometimes feel hopeless. I was on the edge (as stated eariler) and felt like I was alone in my troubles. It was there when I truly discovered that when life strikes you down, the recovery is hard and painful, but will always make you a better person. I began to hang around friends; started talking with this one girl that brought me out of my PTSD ridden mind, and showed me the light in my life. And then you have eGO. I cannot thank this community more for what they have done to save this poor soul's life. Mason, you may find yourself drifting away from humanity when where some may hurt you, others can and will help you find yourself again. If you need anyone to talk to, know that I'm always here and willing to listen.
