The eGO Feature Builder

The “Feature Builder” is a freshly brewed idea to help create a more sufficient and versatile community. It will allow the users to help build eGO with their very own ideas and input. After all, where would we be without fresh idea’s to make us a step or even a LEAP ahead of the other clans!! All idea’s can be polled and revised, edited and optimized, and then of course tested and approved by eGO Leaders and Council Members.

yeah, same thing as a suggestions thread only actually run by someone who will keep the new idea's in circulation and take the appropriate steps to finalizing it.

I think suggestions would require an entire forum topic, though. Then you can have a separate thread for each suggestion, so you can discuss it fully without any mixups, keeping everything nice and organized.

Like i said before it would be same thing as the suggestion forum or whatever but it would have to be ran by someone that would do polls on it and finalize the idea's to present them someone that would make it happen...

I'll put up an example when i get back from work later

There used to be a suggestions link on that top left navigation. I think it got taken down because no one was using it though.

Here's what I've proposed to an advisor:

1) Set up a special forum that everybody can post to.
2) Only the OP and the Council can see that post - I wouldn't be able to see pipcorona's complaint about me, for instance.
3) Any member of the Council could respond or defer to those that could.
4) The OP could see any responses and reply to their thread as needed.
5) This would only be used for generic/global issues instead of PM's or emails - and only for those issues where any member of the Council could help. It obviously would not be used if somebody had a specific issue about a particular member of the Council.
6) Even if the first response was "We need to get back to you on this," people would feel as if a resolution was in the works and that it has not fallen into some black hole.
7) It would really help out the Council and allow them to spend less time fixing and more time playing. I'm sure that some members as of right now get fewer PM's and emails than others and this would help balance things. It could also help cut down on length of Council meetings about various smaller issues when they could be resolved in that thread and over a period of a few days (if it was something that could wait that long).
