Do you play scout and go for objectives? Do you play pocket soldier? Do you play soldier and go for picks? Do you play pyro and guard your engineers? Do you play demoman and deal a ton of damage? Do you play medic and keep your team alive? etc.......

Most of the time I play soldier with gunboats. The gunboats give me a ton of mobility so I can assist my team across the battlefield or rocket jump into the enemy team and go for important medic picks. With the stock rocket launcher I can also spam down sentry guns and bully the enemy out of choke points.

Sometimes I'll play demoknight with the tide turner and claidheamh m?r, the combination of increased charge distance and free control over it allow for a wide variety of uses. I can easily pick medics and other light classes with the sword and burst down heavy classes and sentry-guns with the grenade launcher. The charge also can be used to escape a bad situation or confirm a kill on a low-health enemy. The charge refreshes on every kill, which gives some play-making ability.

Both of my play-styles above are very similar- a lot of utility based around mobility. A mix between pick classes and damage-dealing classes. This mix between roles will ultimately benefit your team more than a spy or heavy would.

So what do you play and how does it benefit your team?

I like protecting medics and playing pyro. Keeping meds alive is important, not just for the team, but also because it is frustrating and unfun to play a medic who dies all the time because your team is grossly incompetent. Pyro is not the best class in tf2, but the ability to move others and deflect projectiles is (theoretically) awesome. My airblasts need a lot of work, though.

Other classes are fun, and I will always have a soft spot for demospamman on Egypt (it is actually a serious congenital heart condition). That said, I really enjoy playing fireguy.

I agree. Pyro is undoubtedly the most deft class to protect medics. You can simply move enemies off your team and roast them. The only exception are snipers.

I play either Pyro or Spy.
For pyro, my main focus is usually supporting my team with airblasts. Secondarily, spy-checking.
For spy, as I don't really use a mic, I'm not a great info gatherer, therefore I focus on killing high-HP targets, medics and engies.

Every scrim
"Med took 30 I'm down"

I play sniper. I enjoy giving support from a far distance while still doing major damage ^_^

I main sniper, but I try to counter whatever the enemy team has.

Soldiers? Pyro.
Pyros? Soldier.
Demomen? Pyro/Scout.
Heavies? Spy.
Engies? Demo.
Medics? Sniper.
Snipers? Sniper.
Spies? Pyro.

Scouts? I leave the server.

I hate this. I had like 3 paragraphs written and the accidently pressed backspace while not focus on the text box, went back a page, and lost everything. >_<

IM THE FREAKIN PYROSHARK OKAY!?!

I also like soldier ;_;

I usually like to lead my team as Demoman with various loadouts, I like blowin up the things.

If my team is well-balanced, I go sniper and offer long-distance support. I always go for meds and am pretty decent at short range shots, so anything else under 150 hp can also be eliminated 8)

Cookies. I stay in the spawn room and bake cookies for my team. Ask Tanooki, he'll confirm this.

I main sniper or soldier - actually I am not great at either, but I try to help where I can. Often, on 2fort, no one is focused on the intel, So, I go scout and will have an easy run at the intel sometimes. Depends on the server. Hightower is a good place to not care about the team and just rack up kills.

I bring the luckiest guillotine kill of all times, I like my scout.
I also bring an eGO sign to the game
THANKS POOR MAN!!!
