Naturally, no eGO people are negative in game, but I wanted to mention an awesome experience on Convoy last night. I had just come in game and a guy was complaining about the team's performance. After we lost, he circumvented the chat filter with a creative spelling of the F-bomb.
I warned him, and then was told by an eG that the guy had been warned before and kept doing it.
Backing up the eG and figuring this guy was dragging the server down, this earned him a 1 day ban.
Then something amazing happened. In came some friends from [syb] and another gent who's name I wish I could remember. The fun chat started and we didn't much care about winning because we were all enjoying it.
We won anyway. Actually, we pwned them. The fun chat inspired a lot of good in game communication, too, and our team got on the ball. It was all about attitude. Even better, the other team didn't get upset, but just came back harder and made the game even more fun.
We don't usually put up with team abuse anyway, but if anybody's upset about your side losing, always put in a positive word, suggest a strategy and get the team moving again. Skill is a factor, but it's amazing what enthusiasm does to a team's performance.

People who are having fun DO tend to do better, just wish some of those folks remembered that.

Let's work on this because medic is a hard class to get people to volunteer for, so let's take care of the ones willing to take on the role for the team and encourage people to help out others! !lol
