Does anyone play them and if you do what do you think of the newest one coming out : warhammer online?

Currently playing WoW, exclusively for the wife, otherwise retired from the game. Also playing LOTRO.

I'm fundamentally opposed to the idea of paying a subscription to play a game that I've already paid for, so ... sorry. No help here.

Well wow got to boring/ frustrating for me i was a heavy pvper. Warhammer looks amazing maybe we should all agree on what sever to roll. Ill be on destruction btw.

Played a bunch. Currently keep an account active on Wow and Eve, but have nonactive acounts for EQ, EQ2, Planetside, VG, AO and a few others. Would love to see Planetside redone with a new engine and depth...pretty much dead now. LotRO I can't play due to one of the guys I play with works on the game and the last thing he wants to do when he gets home is play that game.

Warhammer - I have heard was ok, but may not have enough done by release...have to see.

Conan - Looks ok, but its not really a mmorpg in the traditional sense due to the instancing at least in the first part of the levels.

This just means, instead of dealing with tons of noobs in the beginner town THAT ALL MMOs have. You get to do it instanced. This is just the 'intro' to the game anyways as people get use to control and everything.

I'm with Dr. Marvin. Instancing it so you don't have to fight for the same mobs with a hundred other level one players is a brilliant idea. It also allows for more story to be developed during this time.

Also, Warhammer will have enough done by release or it won't be released. The owners of the IP are ruling them with an iron fist. It will be done or it'll get pushed back for the tenth time.

I used to play WoW but stopped because raiding was getting too big and was taking too much from my life.

Although, Warhammer online age of reckoning is going to be a beast game. PVP is going to be the bomb and I already have decided on the server with a lot of my friends. PM me if you would like to know

I've played a lot of MMORPGs in the past (and Beta tested a lot of them too), but my favorite MMORPG is FFXI. I also like an ORPG called Phantasy Star Universe.

Sadly, I don't play them anymore.

I'm currently waiting for the Mabinogi open beta to start (it's a free MMORPG).

Well i have a bunch of friends that are comming with me to warhammer so we should set a sever and have one of the best guilds
we should name the guild "Bears IRL"

i have played sooooooooooooo many and i might try this warhammer out

i am currently playing Wold Of Wacraft and i love it = )

but i have played alot of mmorpgs they are great.

Ya know, I had that similar opinion for a long time. But I know of very little else that I can pay 15 bucks a month for the amount of entertainment I get.

A WoW private server is exactly the same as WoW, but free, and much less players. Thats better imo.

Yeah, never understood the paying monthly fee story. I pay more then that for a $9 movie ticket, $5 drink, $4 candy. Thats if just myself, usually someone else so double it. And at best get 3 hours of entertainment, usually closer 1.5 hours. Or buying a bottle of Jager for the weekend will cost as much.

As for upcoming MMO, i have a feeling conan will be a flop like vanguard. Warhammer has promise. I currently play WoW, its a good game, but mostly play because nothing else comes close. Have high hopes for Warhammer.

Edit: Private servers are usually "fun" servers where you get 300% exp and such. Boss fights are incomplete auto attack, come back in 15 mins and get loot as a rogue at 100+ with insane dodge. Servers buggy/laggy and down often. If you want to play with less people, console games are probably more your style.

When the game comes out, instead of sending emails to each other and waiting to see what server to play on, we decided that the 10th server in alphabetical order will be our server to play on.

Actually, I have some hope for Conan simply because it's an MMO with an M rating. They're going for a much darker and grimmer game than most.

P.S. - Every private server I've played on, ever, has blown.

lol 10th sever? ok that sounds like a plan does anyone know when its supposed to come out? I heard Q2 but nothing has been said since then.
