Problems since update?

Anyone else having their game crash when connecting to servers, and not having servers show up in search? It looks like people are dropping out of the servers like crazy, too. What gives? This is getting frustrating! I needs me some sweet TF2

My game won't even open, last time I tried it said it failed to resize the cache. Great.

Anytime Monkey and I try to get on server we crash.

Yeah this is getting crazy. The servers are totally dead now it seems. I'm keeping an eye on the Steam forums as well but no answers there. This is the error I'm getting "GetDynamicBaseline: FindStringIndex(18) failed". Wha?

I don't know, I finally got it to open but now I can't connect to servers. Who thought it would be a great idea to take a game that works and break it so that around one out of every one thousand people can maybe chance to play it sometimes?

I think the servers just needed to update. If they haven't already, they probably will be fine in just a bit.

Even though everyone is going insane over this and has been for the last few hours it seems that Valve has yet to notice (or post any acknowledgment that they've noticed) and so it'll probably be up to the server maintainers to mess with each individual installation until they get it to work properly. Actually I'm going to call valve and tell them there are better ways to handle the fact that you just broke your game than sitting around the water cooler pretending it didn't happen. There's no way Valve hasn't received at least 5000 emails about this already, and it would only take them a few seconds to get onto steampowered.com and post a notice saying "We're working on it, for now server admins can do this or players can do this and if that doesn't work then we'll revert the update and continue work on it for release later". It'd at least be nice to know they're attempting to do something. I had a long, 10 hour school day and I'm exhausted and I was really looking forward to unwinding with TF2, but I guess I have to loaf around and wait for a while.

I also get an error when i try to go on one of the EG servers and crashes the whole game. Other servers work well. What's happening??

Every server on steam is pretty much down right now. What a total melt down.
